I read that I could generate a "boot.log" but I can't figure out how.
I really just need to make it possible to boot Windows from Clover. I tried adding them as custom entries as jbamford suggested with UUIDs and paths to efi, but they don't show up. It works when I boot from the USB, and the efi-file has the correct filename. The Windows entry shows up in Clover boot menu, but won't boot (because I renamed its efi). after which you can open any editor or application to edit your ist at (according to this example post) b:\EFI\CLOVER\ist (assuming that's where in the EFI partition you have installed clover) by running. When kexts and plist were copied to my hard drive EFI partition, I was able to boot OS X directly with no issues. diskpart list disk select disk 0 list partition select partition 1 assign letterb exit. One of my mistakes was that I did not copy the kexts that I use on the USB (did UniBeast add these? I'm pretty sure I made a clean USB this last time). The EFI partition now behaves properly, with no errors when I mount it. Now i see the files, but still i can only start clover from USB and then boot from the installed OSX. NOTE 3: i formatted the EFI partition and tried again. NOTE 2: There's an /Volumes/ESP/EFI folder with basically the same files as the ones in the USB NOTE: my windows installation is at disk 0, so i cannot do the dual boot trick mentioned in the guide. What can i do to fix this? When choosing disk1s1, i don't get an error, and the green light shows up on clover configurator, but it's empty. If i choose disk2s1, EFI mounts and the icon shows up on the desktop. I was able to do this normally on 10.10 without issues (i used chimera back then, but i needed to mount EFI to make booting from HDD) I even downloaded EFI mounter v3 and same thing.
